Anne Kenworthy (center), Rock Creek Middle School Language Arts Teacher, was recently recognized as a Kansas Horizon Award Recipient. Kansas Commissioner of Education, Dr. Randy Watson, surprised Kenworthy with a phone call to the school district on Thursday, January 5, and congratulated her on being selected as one of Kansas' exemplary first-year teachers.
